AUE Sovereign Holdings is establishing a continent-wide network of AU Hallmarked Gold Refineries — the first integrated, tiered system designed to localize gold processing, enforce purity standards, and underpin the AUE gold-backed currency.
Each refinery operates under AU compliance and contributes to Africa’s unified gold ecosystem.

Tier 1 Refineries

  • Location: Top 10 gold-producing countries
  • Capacity: Up to 100 tonnes per year
  • Role: Central bullion hubs meeting LBMA standards
  • Function: Full-scale refining, minting, and reserve storage

Tier 2 Refineries

  • Location: Mid-level producers
  • Capacity: 25–50 tonnes per year
  • Role: Regional processing and minting centres
  • Function: Assay, smelting, minting, and secure vaults

Tier 3 Refineries

  • Location: Lower-output or strategic nations
  • Capacity: Up to 10 tonnes per year
  • Role: Compact, compliant refineries
  • Function: Localised processing and intake integration

Satellite Gold Buying Offices

Each refinery compound is constructed as a high-security installation, purpose-built to withstand physical and cyber threats alike. Perimeter security includes four-metre reinforced walls, electric fencing, bomb-detection gates, and anti-ram bollards, all monitored through 360-degree CCTV coverage and armed patrols.
Access control is equally stringent — entry points are secured by biometric identification, with all personnel and visitor movements logged and verified. Transactions occur only within controlled intake rooms, accessible to verified sellers by appointment. Inside, security teams are supported by AI-monitored surveillance zones, combining machine intelligence with human oversight to maintain uncompromising vigilance.

Every refinery is equipped with advanced smelting and minting technology capable of processing between 10 and 100 tonnes per year, depending on its tier. Onsite assay laboratories conduct precise purity and composition analysis, while dedicated minting units produce the exclusive 1kg AUE Bullion Bars — the standard form of issuance within the AUE system.
All refining activities are directly linked to AUE issuance authorisation, ensuring each refined bar corresponds to a verifiable digital asset, backed by physical bullion stored within AU-controlled vaults.

AUE’s logistics infrastructure relies on a fleet of high-speed, AI-driven drones that transport gold between satellite offices and refineries through encrypted, pre-mapped corridors. Each drone operates under a multilayered, quantum-resistant security system — including air-gapped flight control, authenticated firmware, and real-time anomaly detection — making remote interference virtually impossible.
These autonomous units are accompanied by armed rapid-response drones equipped for real-time neutralisation of threats, ensuring secure passage of high-value cargo even across remote regions. Command and Control Centres monitor all drone telemetry in real time, coordinating with AU military partners for immediate threat response and asset protection.
